Elizabeth Cooke is a Brooklyn based communications and branding expert, entrepreneur, and dancer. She provides communications consulting services through Cooke PR & Communications.
Before going out on her own, she served as an Account Director at top PR and branding agencies including Highwire PR, 5WPR and Theory Marketing Partners, serving clients in the eCommerce, Finance, Food & Beverage, Lifestyle and Technology sectors including Walmart, Mitel, Tealium, Mr. Cooper, Datasite, Softserve and more. She has also managed communications for start ups and arts organizations including L2 Inc. (now Gartner L2), New York Live Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, and more.
She holds a Master’s in Business Administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in Society and Culture from Emory University. She is the Founder & CEO of Hi Artist, an arts and culture start-up that created pop-up contemporary dance experiences in unconventional spaces, and the Co-Founder and former Business Director of Narrative Tango Tours (a tango company based in Buenos Aires). She has guest lectured on topics including Public Relations and Cultural Entrepreneurship, at New York University and Baruch College, respectively. She began dancing at age six and has performed in dances and musicals on stages in Argentina, France, and the United States. Cooke is currently pursuing her Pilates teacher certification at The Kane School at Kinected in Manhattan.
