Theory Marketing Partners

As the Director of Communications Strategy at Theory Marketing Partners, Elizabeth provides strategic public relations, communications, and brand consulting for a range of clients including B2C and B2B start-ups in the e-commerce, technology, data, food and beverage, innovation, and health and wellness industries. She also leads internal communications and public relations efforts, including drafting and editing press releases, email copy, blog posts, and case studies. In this role, she has had the pleasure of working with journalists from Well+Good, MediaPost, AdAge, Eater, The Austin American Statesman, and more.

Hi Artist

As most Founders do, Elizabeth wore a range of hats at Hi Artist, an arts and culture start-up that produced events for millennial consumers. One of those hats was managing public relations and communications initiatives. This included managing internal communications and developing and implementing public relations campaigns that resulted in increased brand awareness and positive press coverage (including being named one of “The Best Things To Do in NYC” by Gothamist). She wrote and placed thought leadership pieces in ciaooo! magazine, and was featured in The Dance Enthusiast, The Skint, Dance / NYC, and more. She pitched and executed partnerships with Airbnb Experiences, Ace Hotel New York, Sofar Sounds, and Collabarét, and utilized a multi-channel approach to drive customer acquisition, successfully growing Hi Artist’s customer base by 19x.

L2 Inc.

A firm that benchmarks the digital performance of consumer brands, Elizabeth successfully helped to position L2 Inc. for their 2017 acquisition by Gartner. She doubled weekly press mentions within her first five months on the job, and built relationships with members of the press that lead to achievements including generating L2’s first-ever exclusive feature in Adweek (print and online) and placing thought leadership pieces in Fast Company and elsewhere. As the first in-house communications staff-member, she also worked cross-functionally to create and implement new staff-wide internal communications procedures that increased efficiencies.

Additional communications and public relations work: New York Live Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Narrative Tango Tours.
